President Chandrikapersad Santokhi brengt vandaag een bezoek aan het Nationaal Leger, in de Memre Buku Kazerne. Het is het eerste bezoek dat het staatshoofd aflegt aan deze groep gewapende macht, in de hoedanigheid van opperbevelhebber.
Tijdens het bezoek zal het staatshoofd de verschillende troepen, die zijn opgesteld in de kazerne, inspecteren.
